Who we build for

Clinic website design patients actually trust

Someone deciding where to take a problem they are worried about reads a clinic website far more carefully than they read a cafe's. Which makes clinic website design less about selling and more about answering three quiet questions before anyone asks them. Do these people know what they are doing, will I be looked after, and is this going to be awkward.

Trust is built on specifics

A clinic website is not really selling anything. It is reassuring someone who is already a little uneasy, and that is a different job. Adjectives do not do it. Specifics do.

Who practises here and what they are qualified in. What actually happens at a first appointment, and how long it takes. What it is like to walk in the door, and where to park. Read all that beforehand and a patient arrives already knowing what to expect.

Individual practitioner pages matter more than most clinics expect. After a referral, the first thing someone does is search the name they were given. A page with that name on it, with real qualifications underneath, answers them far better than one line in a list.

What patients skim past, and what they read twice

Skimmed past
  • Stock photographs of models in white coats. Everybody can tell.
  • An opening paragraph about caring, compassionate, patient-centred care.
  • A services list of clinical terms with nothing underneath them.
  • A contact page with a phone number and nothing else on it.
Read twice
  • Photographs of your actual rooms and your actual team.
  • A plain account of what happens at a first appointment.
  • Each service in the words a patient would search, and the proper name.
  • Hours, parking, stairs or lift, and a booking button that works.

Three things a clinic site has to get right

Looking the part is the easy half. These are the ones patients notice when they are missing.

Booking that matches the diaryAppointment types of different lengths, new patients given longer, the slots you hold back, practitioners who are only in certain days. We connect to the practice or booking system you already use rather than asking the clinic to change how it runs.
Both names for the same thingPeople search the thing that hurts, not the clinical term. So each service gets described in the plain words someone would actually type, with the proper name alongside it. Easier to read and easier to find, at the same time.
Careful with patient detailsAnything touching patient information is built with care from the start, which mostly means being careful about what the site collects and stores at all. We will talk through what applies to your clinic before we build it.

How clinic website design works here

The same three steps as every site we build. The middle one just takes a bit longer.

  1. 01We build a free previewA thirty minute chat about the clinic, then a real design of your new site to look at. Not a template with your logo dropped on it, and nothing to pay.
  2. 02We get the details rightPractitioners, qualifications, services, appointment lengths, hours, what a first visit involves. This is the part that does the reassuring, so we go through it properly with you.
  3. 03We launch and look after itThe site goes live with booking connected and tested. After that we keep it quick, secure and current as the clinic changes.

What your clinic site comes with

Every site we build, clinic or not.

  • A page per practitioner, with real qualifications and a real photo
  • Services in plain words and named properly, so both searches land
  • Online booking connected to the system the clinic already runs
  • First-visit information, hours, parking and how to find the door
  • Quick on a phone, which is where most of this gets read
  • Hosting, backups and a care plan once it is live
Questions

The things people ask

How much does a clinic website cost?

There is no fixed price, because no two sites need the same things. We quote on what yours actually needs once we have talked about it. Before any of that, we build you a free preview so you can see the work before you decide anything. No obligation, nothing to pay.

Can you connect to the booking system we already use?

Usually, yes, and that is the better way around. Most practice and booking systems can be linked or embedded so patients book in one place and it lands in the diary your front desk already watches. Tell us what you run and we will say straight away what is possible.

What about patient information?

It gets built with care from the start rather than patched on later, and the simplest protection is for the website to collect and store as little as it can. We also built MySecureSend, an encrypted file delivery tool used by Australian medical, legal and finance firms with nothing retained afterwards, so this is familiar ground for us. We will go through what applies to your clinic before anything goes live.

Do we need new photographs?

If what you have is stock imagery, yes. Real rooms and real faces do more for a clinic site than any design choice we could make, because patients are trying to picture walking in. If you have nothing yet, we will tell you the handful of shots actually worth taking and build around them.

Should each practitioner have their own page?

Yes. People search a practitioner by name after being referred, and that search needs somewhere to land. It also means the clinic is not asking one shared bio page to carry every practitioner.

Our clinic is small. Is a site like this overkill?

No. A single-practitioner clinic is often where it counts most, because there is no big name doing the reassuring for you. The website is the whole first impression, so it may as well be a good one.
